Thermal King Glass is a family business established in 1980 by Roy McIlveen. All of our staff including 5 family members, pride ourselves on our commitment to helping our customers make the most informed purchase decision regarding any of the products we sell. If you are an old customer you may know us as TK Glass Ltd. (our legal name).

Thermal King Glass started out in 1980 as a full service glass shop specializing in upgrading old windows to thermal windows. We have always been and still are a full service glass shop doing everything from residential and commercial glass to mirror walls and shower doors. If its glass we probably do it!

In 1991 Thermal King Glass was Registered and trained by BC Hydro Power Smart Home Improvements Program. As one of the original group of Registered contractors we received extensive training in "House as a System" home improvements. This Involved testing of homes for air leakage, Draftproofing, Installing Powersmart rated Vinyl windows and Doors, upgrading Insulation in attics, walls and crawlspaces, installing proper exhaust ventilation systems, efficient thermostats and Co monitors. At the end of a home retrofit we would also test to make sure the homeowner was safe from CO₂ backdrafting into the home. If required by the homeowner we also helped arrange in home financing. Thermal King Glass was the only full service contractor registered with the Powersmart Program from the first day until it ended in 2002. Since 1991 we have gone from just being a glass shop to specialists in home energy retrofits.

Thermal King Glass has been a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau since 1981. Thermal King Glass has been nominated for a Torch Award for customer service the last 3 years running. (see BBB letters)
